Kim Nimmo

Kim is a native of Wyoming and she has dedicated her life to promoting wellness, recovery, and personal growth. Her journey in promoting healing began in 2010 at the Denver School of Massage Therapy in Aurora, Colorado, where she earned her certification as a massage therapist. In 2013 she specialized in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, obtaining advanced training in this unique and effective modality. That same year, she achieved National Certification as a Board-Certified Therapist for Massage Therapy and Bodywork (BCTMB), a credential she has diligently maintained. Kim is also licensed to practice massage in Colorado. Kim’s path expanded to yoga after she experienced significant relief from osteoarthritis, which developed during her years as a marathon runner. Inspired by the transformative power of yoga, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 at the Sadhana School of Yoga in Casper, Wyoming, at Wyoming Yoga and Wellness. That same year, she became a peer support specialist for Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR). She continues to lead weekly recovery yoga groups at the 12-24 Club in Casper, supporting individuals on their path to healing. Kim is currently completing her 300-hr Yoga Teacher certification through Blossom Yoga in Cheyenne, WY. Her dedication to wellness, recovery, and community exemplifies her compassionate spirit and enduring commitment to helping others discover their potential for self-healing, self-care, and self-compassion. In her personal life, Kim enjoys, quilting, reading, spending time with her beloved dachshunds, and outdoor activities such as biking and cross-country skiing.
